Animath (Association pour l'animation mathématique) is a French association. Its aim is to promote mathematical activities in education. In particular, it ensures the development of workshops and clubs in any educational insitutions. It promotes mathematical competitions. Animath encourages the participation of a wide community of students, girls and boys, to its activities.
Les maths, ça sert !
"Les maths, ça sert" (Maths are useful!). This is an initiative of bringing professional users of mathematics in secondary-school (collège and lycée) in order to show students that the subjects taught are of daily use in a number of trades.
