AuDiMath (Autour de la Diffusion des Mathématiques) is a French network to support university projects on math popularization to a non-university public.

Formally, AuDiMath is a Groupement de Services (GdS) created by the Institut National Sciences Mathématiques et de leurs Interactions (INSMI), which is an agency of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Before January 2016, AuDiMath was a Réseau Thématique Pluridisciplinaire (RTP). [1]

The goals of AuDiMath are:

  • To gather agents in math difussion and promote a reflexion on common activities.
  • To be a network for people engaged in math communication from math laboratories (universities).
  • To maintain the site Images des mathématiques.

Team:

  • Olivier Druet (DR, Institut Camille Jordan) (Head of the project).
  • Stéphanie Vareilles (responsable de la communication au Cirm).
  • Séverine Voisin (responsable de la communication du Labex Milyon).
  • Fabrice Planchon (Professeur à l’Université Nice Sophia Antipolis et Rédacteur en chef d’Images des Maths).
