Cap'Math is a project coordinated by the association Animath. The project gathers the whole French mathematics community (professional associations of reserachers and/or teachers in mathematics, associations, research institutes, people involved in the diffusion of mathematics...). The main objectives are:
- mitigate social and geographic disparities
- encourage and help girls to overcome the barriers that prevent her to initiate a curriculum in mathematics
- improve the general perception of mathematics by a large audience and in particular schoolchildren, improve the comprehension of the impact of mathematics, of their utility and vitality
- globally increase the flow of students involved in a complete curriculum in mathematics.
